Hey,I am very tired right now. I've been searching for valuable sources to use for my upcoming health & environment essay. I found myself writing approximately 900 words our of 1750 on a combined topic that was totally unnescessary to cover. I started writing about agriculture in New Zealand and its affect on environment and water shortages as a cause of irrigation. The thing is, we are supposed to write about something that affects human health negatively (or has the ability) and how it is being managed today in New Zealand. Ofcourse, I am too stubborn to change topic now since I have been working on this for a day or two. I decided to change my direction to how the increasing freshwater shortages threatens agriculture in New Zealand, and somehow link that to human health. The only problem is, I am really struggling to find articles to use as my sources. So right now I am really tired.. I will probably end up watching modern family (<3) and then fall asleep like a baby, without any new information added to my essay. Meh, I will find a way to make this work. If I do, it will turn out to be an awesome essay! I can feel it.. I need it as well, it's 40% of our final mark.
I finally got myself together to take my third Twinrix shot (Hepatitus A+B). What's annoying is that I need to take another bloodtest to proove that I am still immune. How stupid doesn't that sound? I have already provided them with bloodsamples that proved my immunity, these taken after my second shot. Bleh, just annoying, luckily the bloodsamples are not as expensive as the ones in Sweden. However, I spent 86 NZD on my twinrix shot (86x5.2 for SEK).
It looks like we've found a place to live, I really hope for this one. It it cost 150 NZD a week, which is way better than here (220NZD a week). It is a bit far away from university though so I'll have to get a bike or a buscard, but it's all good. Either way I will save money.
All this talk about money makes me feel anxious of not having a job. In Sweden I went into saving mode, in New Zealand I've only wasted money. Well maybe not wasted, it has been for useful things. It is just weird not to have a steady income anymore, I'll have to get a job soon. It's expensive as to study here.
