I am really satisfied with my final grades this semester. I didn't know what to expect before I got here. I thought I would have to struggle to get a pass since it's all on english. Turns out I managed to pull it off pretty good.

so yeah, I am ready for second semester. Bring it!

June 27 2011; Piha for 21st

I forgot to write about the trip to Piha on my 21st birthday. Charlotte took me and Julia to Piha, which is on the west coast of Auckland. It was absolutely amazing! We had the perfect weather: sunny and the tide was low. I took lots of photos. I also went to Auckland Zoo the day before with Julia, was fun!

ah yeah, I drove Charlotte's car a stretch. That's where I got the idea to take my drivers license here, it is way.. WAY cheaper than it would be to take it in Sweden.

here are some photos, enjoy:

June 27 2011; Superman

I've been living at my new place for a couple of days now and I like it. It isn't as far away from uni as I thought at first.

So today I went to takapuna to fill in the IRD application forms and then I was off to uni to get signatures on some documents. At uni I decided to eat a foot long from subway and I got so stuffed that I could barely move. However, I walked it off as I headed back to Takapuna to meet up with Sarah at her place. After looking through her New Zealand picture book, with Dr. Phil in the background (don't judge!), I walked to the labtest place. I fixed my blood-sample and went to buy some food. With my backpack full of food I went to the bus-stop.  However, the clock was around 3 and people were coming home from work so the road were smocked, and ofcourse my bus were in the other lane (the one furthest away from the bus-stop). It was raining and there was an amazing rainbow in the sky cause it was still sunny. Soon enough the weather changed again and the rain stopped. So I decided to walk back to the appartment, and to be honest.. It went faster than taking the bus.

So here I am, on my way to study some road code. Listening to spotify without my headphones, my mum scared me talkin' about the high likeability to get tinnitus when using headphones. haha, wow. Mums really never stop to have an influence on their kids, even if they're on the other side of the world.

It takes approximately 5-10 minutes to walk to the beach from where I live, it will be awesome in summer:)

My babeh in Sweden;)

June 23 2011; Adios asv

Hey,
I have finally moved out of the studentvillage to a place where I pay 70 NZD less a week and where I got: real sky TV, internet & free laundry (washingmachine and dryer). Happy to be outa here, but since I am a social person it feels abit weird living "alone".

I am about to apply for an IRD number, which is a tax number that is required for working. I will also apply for a 18+ card (it is an ID that you can use everywhere, sort of like a drivers license), so I don't walk around with my passport everywhere.

It takes approximately two to three weeks to get an IRD number, so I'll go on a jobhunt as soon as I get it. I need moneeyh!

I also got myself a buscard yesterday to use when I cant bike (which is another thing I need to get: a bike) to school or wherever. Auckland weather is very weird in winter, it can go from sunshine to pissing rain in a second. It's very unpredictable, although the temperature is nice! it is lowest 13*C during winter it looks like, woop woop!

I'm about to hit the gym soon, then I will probably go "home" to cook food, watch TV (they got great movies) & do laundry. Wow, I am becoming an adult.. I really am.

I see my blog as my own little online diary. I will write about what I want to be able to look back on in the future. Therefore it will most likely not be updated as frequently as normal blogs do, but whatever. It's fun to be able to look back on specific moments in life that illustrate memories of travels, achievements, feelings & events.

So, adios studentvillage!

June 7 2011; In sleep

Tonight I dreamt that I was dressed out like Lady Gaga. Me and some friends were at some VIP party for lady gaga and everyone were dressed out as her little monsters. I do not have ANY idea whatsoever why I happened to end up in a lady gaga costume with a freaking wigg on. I was even surprised in the dream of where I were, and when I was about to go to the locker rooms (it was in a big training-hall) to take a shower and get my normal cloths on to leave the party - someone had ofcourse stolen my cloths ;P

So there I stood, thinking how I would get home without my regular cloths on and whoooeeps there she was. Lady Gaga standing in front of me and my response was: "What the.. How do I get home now? Some bastard stole my cloths.. I can't go home in THIS??! NEVER!"

And she just looked at me as if she didnt understand anything and said: "why not? sure you can :E"

Need I say I woke up after that? I guess the thought of running around in female cloths with a wigg in public to get home was too much for me to handle. Sorry, ain't your little monster.. oeeeh, what a weird dream?

ANYWAY, I just made my psychology exam (online) and it resulted in 44/50. So now that that one is done I only have the HAP exam on friday. After that it is parteey, woop woop!

My birthday is coming up and I just saw that Jeffery Deaver (My favourite author) published a new James Bond book! HIS FIRST ONE EVER!!! It must be so fuckin' amazing... Need I say I WANT IT??

ooeh, I got spotify unlimited by my parents as b-day gift :) so I'll have it for a year now, and it works perfect here! so nice! I will make sure it will be well used.

Carte Blanche, perfecto name!
